The observatory can be reached using the street from Schorndorf to Welzheim (L 1150). Before reaching Welzheim, exit in the direction Langenberg and follow the signs for „Sternwarte“.
There are signs for the parking lot „Sternwarte.“ From here, a path (430 m) leads to the observatory. Cars are not allowed on this path.
