Via U-Bahn (recommended):

After entering arrivals, follow signs for the U-Bahn station (a blue U symbol). The platforms are reached by leaving the arrivals level through the main doors, crossing the street and walking past the Mövenpick Hotel through a short underpass. Board the yellow train of the line U6, which departs every 10 minutes 10am-7pm. Ride it approximately 45 minutes until reaching the stop Maybachstraße. The U6 also passes through Stuttgart's Main Station. The Hotel is adjacent to the exits of the station, on the corner of Siemensstraße and Maybachstraße.

After entering arrivals, follow signs for the S-Bahn station (a green S symbol). The platforms are underground and reached via stairs, escalators and elevators from both sides of the arrivals level. Board the S2 towards Schorndorf or S3 towards Backnang, both from platform 2. Ride these approximately 30 minutes until reaching Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof, where you should get off. Take stairs, escalators or elevators up, following signs for the U-Bahn (blue U symbol), where you will arrive at an underground concourse (note - do not take the stairs directly at the back end of the platforms). More stairs and escalators will be in the middle of this concourse, leading down to the U-Bahn platforms. Take the middle set of stairs/escalators and go to platform 3 for the U6 towards Gerlingen. Board the U6 and ride approximately 7 minutes until reaching the stop Maybachstraße. The Hotel is adjacent to the exits of the station, on the corner of Siemensstraße and Maybachstraße.
From Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof Long Distance Platforms (e.g. ICE, TGV)

Upon arriving at the surface level platforms of Hauptbahnhof, you need to make your away round the large construction site to the underground concourse. There are access routes on the left and right ends of the station. Follow signs for the U-Bahn (blue U symbol). The walk will take 5-10 minutes, elevators are only available on the opposite side of the large road. In the concourse, take the middle set of stairs/escalators and go to platform 3 for the U6 towards Gerlingen. Board the U6 and ride approximately 7 minutes until reaching the stop Maybachstraße. The Hotel is adjacent to the exits of the station, on the corner of Siemensstraße and Maybachstraße.
